Local 7631 of the MSNA/CNA/NNOC and Aroostook Medical Center reached a tentative contract Tuesday, July 21st after lengthy negotiations. Federal Mediator, Elayne Tempel, facilitated the final negotiations. The negotiations were professional. There was no ill will between the parties.

Candlelight Vigil Was a Huge Success!

With over 160 TAMC RNs, their friends, family, and local supporter the Candlelight Vigil was a huge success! As nurses and supporters lined both sides of Main Street the night came alive with candlelight and the sound of horns. Yes, horns! Cars and truck showed their support of TAMC RNs by honking for the nurses!
